RECONNECTING WITH WHAT MATTERS MOST

Hi there,

In this special interview, I share my journey and insights on reconnecting with what truly matters most—faith, leadership, and purpose. It’s all about finding balance and leading with intention, whether you’re managing a team, running a business, or navigating life’s challenges.

1. How Would You Describe Who You Are in This Very Moment?

At this moment, I am free. After 31 years in public education, from substitute to associate superintendent, I retired and started my own soulful business helping people build confidence as leaders. I’ve transitioned from education into leadership coaching, and now I dedicate my time to helping others connect with their true potential.

2. What Makes You Happy and What Makes You Feel Successful?

What makes me happy is knowing that I’m serving others and helping them self-reflect and discover their strengths. When I see people fully using their gifts to add goodness to the world, it lights me up. Success, for me, is seeing others prosper and lead fully, clearly, and purposefully. When leaders love who they serve, loyalty, retention, culture, and success flow freely.

3. What Inspired You to Become Who You Are and to Do What You Do Today?

I’m an international leadership expert, executive coach, and professional trainer. My journey as an associate superintendent led me to realize that mindset is everything. I spent more time working with underperforming schools, and I discovered that we didn’t need to change staff—we needed to change mindsets. When adults believed in their abilities, they began to inspire students, who then believed in their own potential.

4. Do You Consider What You Do a Calling, a Purpose, a Mission?

Absolutely. The Leadership Executive Group works to prepare more leaders. As turnover occurs in all sectors, leaders are needed more than ever. This is my calling and my strength. I help guide people through building their confidence, practicing routines, and making better connections while maintaining their well-being. I’m on a mission to prevent burnout and help leaders thrive in all sectors—organizations, schools, non-profits, families, churches, and even friend groups.

5. Who Would Benefit Most From Your Work and Your Message?

I work primarily with women over 30 who are looking for that next role, working with a new team, mentoring others, or building their confidence to shine as leaders. I also work with female executives, CEOs, and leaders looking to strengthen their teams and model balance for others.

6. What Is It Like Working With You from a Client’s Perspective?

When clients work with me, they feel heard. They process without judgment and respond to questions that help identify limiting beliefs and set intentions for the future. They have a coach who believes in them and helps them believe in themselves. They transform from feeling uncertain or self-doubting to feeling clear and decisive.

7. What Is Healing to You?

For me, healing is restoration with purpose. It’s not just about recovering from pain or exhaustion; it’s about aligning my life with my calling. Whether through faith, reflection, or service, I seek healing that renews my energy, clarity, and sense of mission. It’s about reconnecting with what matters most: faith, family, nature, and community.

Healing empowers others because lifting someone else brings light back into our own lives.

8. What Is the Goal of Healing and What Are the Obstacles to It?

The goal of healing is to restore wholeness—to renew purpose and align heart, mind, and spirit for meaningful, empowered living. The biggest obstacles to healing often include lack of time, fear of vulnerability, and resistance to change.

9. What Are Some Misconceptions Most People Have About Healing?

Some misconceptions about healing are that it’s passive, selfish, instant, or only physical. True healing is multifaceted—it involves faith, reflection, purpose, rest, and inner work. It’s about empowering others while also restoring yourself.

10. Do You Connect Healing to Spirituality? And If You Do, What Is Spirituality to You?

Yes, I absolutely connect healing to spirituality. Spirituality, for me, is finding peace through faith, meditation, prayer, rest, and activities that allow me to transcend the physical world. It’s in those peaceful states where I find healing, and I believe that true spirituality brings about transformation in the physical world as well.

11. What Do You Feel Is the Purpose of the Human Experience?

I believe that each of us has unique gifts that are meant to be harnessed and leveraged for the greater good. We are communal beings with an innate desire to serve others. When we align our actions with our values, we can serve others while also thriving in our own lives.

12. What Is Your Vision for Humanity?

My vision for humanity includes empowered leadership that fosters confidence, clarity, and impact. I believe that empowered leadership will transform organizations, communities, and families. My goal is to help people achieve their highest goals without burnout by helping them work smarter, not harder. I want people to enjoy a balanced life while also fulfilling their purpose.

13. What Is Your Understanding of Love?

Love, to me, is action rooted in faith. It’s showing up consistently, serving others with humility, leading with compassion, and giving without expecting anything in return. Love is about choosing grace over judgment, patience over pressure, and truth over comfort. It’s about commitment, sacrifice, and being present for others.

14. What, Where, and Who Is God to You?

God is my foundation, my guide, and my sustainer. He is the one who has carried me through difficult times and continues to lead me through each new chapter. I trust Him not just with my past but with my future, and I lead others from a place of deep faith.

15. What Is the Difference Between the Subconscious and the Unconscious Mind?

I work with leaders to understand the differences between the conscious and subconscious minds. The subconscious mind controls habits, beliefs, and emotions, while the conscious mind is more logical and goal-focused. By leveraging the conscious mind, we can break old patterns and rewire our thoughts for long-term success.

16. Talk to Me Some More About Your Offerings and Services.

I offer faith-driven leadership coaching, retreats, and professional development that empower leaders to thrive without burnout. My services focus on balance, growth, and purpose—helping others restore balance and align their work with their calling.

17. Do You Meet Your Clients In Person and Remotely? Do You Offer Group and Corporate Coaching?

Yes, I work with clients both in-person and remotely, offering group coaching, corporate training, and retreats for large and small organizations. I also currently run a 5-Day Power Shift Challenge and a 90-Day Confidence Accelerator Program.
